You can also call this Collage Camp Two!

If you had fun in Collage Camp...and who didn't...then this is the place for you to go next. Get super-creative. Get Bold! Get manic. You aren't required to have seen the Collage Camp videos first, but you're probably gonna want to. So much of what you learned there will be used here. Your decision.

There will be videos on:

• Works on Paper
• Paints, fabrics and images on wrapped canvas
• Altars and shrines
• Large multi-image Storytellers
• Collage with just fabric
• Altered art books
• Art boxes
• Art made from found-objects and doo-dads only
•Crosses
• Birdhouses
•Collaged clothing and jewelry
• Refinishing a piece of furniture with paint and collage.
• Collaged Flags
• And probably other stuff my tired, overworked, manic mind hasn't even come up with yet.

But for now we're gonna start with these three...

Take advantage of Early Registration!

• Altars and Shrines
• Works on Paper
• Altered Books

Just like we did for Collage Camp...if you register early while Logan and I are working on the videos you will get in to the Manic Place at a lower rate. Each video will increase once the videos are posted in a few weeks.

And just like Collage Camp, these videos will be available 24/7 and you can watch and do the art as you please..in your own time. AND I am available for questions and input and so are the other folks that are being a Mixed Media Manic here with you. The individual workshops are priced perfectly to give as gifts for other artsy-fartsy friends.

Altars and Shrines Workshop $55
Works on Paper Workshop $55
Altered Books Workshop $55
Purchase All 3 for $145

Once all 3 of these videos are done it will be available on DVD.

Signing In or Signing Up

So select the workshop or workshops that you want to participate in. Pay the Early Registration fee and then Sign In if you are already a Ning member or Sign Up if you are not. I will receive an e-mail that you have done these 2 things and you are awaiting approval. I will approve your membership and you can come on in and be ready, willing and able to start when the videos are up. Just like Collage Camp!

Take what you learned in Collage Camp and Go Crazy!

Altars and Shrines...One of my Favorites. I've been doing Altars almost since Day 1. Love them! There's something so funky about taking a basic box and turning it into a embellished and layered Shrine of Our Lady of Your Creativity. We'll do several different altars and I'll give you cool ideas for where to get the "box" or how to make one. And embellishments are endless. You know all those cool things you have found that don't really work on a fabric wall hanging? Here's where you can use them. Large or small. You can do these forever!

Works on Paper....Here I will show you how to do the look of what I do using all papers, no fabrics. A Paper collage class in other words. You can keep it simple or use the techniques I will show you to incorporate paint and a wee bit of texture if you want. assorted backdrops to build your collage on will be shown. A great way to get the look of an old, weathered piece without a sewing machine.

Altered Books...I will show you my ideas for building a book from scratch using cardboards, papers, fabric and embellishments, as well as re-working an existing journal or hardboard book. We're gonna do something pretty darn artsy here when we take a hardboard book, collage the cover and make an altar out of it at the same time!
